Ciprialavica accessories are all one-of-a-kind. They are sewn, painted and modelled by hand with passion and skill in keeping with age-old traditions, carrying on the rich cultural and manufacturing heritage of Italy, and in particular Sicily.
Opera Unica
The jewellery in the “Opera Unica” collection is made from prickly pear fibre in a 24K gold bath.
The fibre extraction process takes about two years using a proprietary method that preserves the beauty and complexity of the wood and its texture, after which it is sculpted into unique artistic shapes.
Rise a Paladina
The “Rise a Paladina” collection is dedicated to women called on to defend everything they hold dear, living their lives with courage and devotion. It evokes ancient battles and heroic victories won by these valiant yet feminine women in arms.
“Rise a Knight” was the phrase used to consecrate the investiture of mediaeval knights, while the traditional puppet theatre of the “Pupi Siciliani” told the story of the Paladins, fearless female warriors who embody the highest values of mankind.
The “Rise a Paladina” collection is inspired by the clothes and armour of warriors: the woven palm of the bags represents the chainmail used underneath the armour and the brass jewels embossed by the puppet masters the armour itself; the hand-painted ceramics are reminiscent of the jewels on the sword hilts; and the feathers evoke the crests on the knights’ helmets.
